Rehearsals for this concert segment:  Aug 25, Sep 1, 8, 12 (Sat), 15, 22, 29.  Dress rehearsal: Oct 2, 7:30-10:00 PM.  Attendance requirement: 5 out of 7 rehearsals.

We welcome singers to the first rehearsal of our 2009-2010 season!  Sep 8 is the last week we can accept new members.

Dues are $50 for the Aug-May season or $25 per half-year.  Music cost for this segment is $13.

Chorale Ensemble call-backs will be next Tuesday, Sep 1 at 6:50 PM in the Metz Center.

Auditions for new members will be next Tuesday, Sep 1 at 9:20 PM in the Metz Center.

Sep 24 - Thu, time TBD.  Evening performance for News and Messenger's Birthday Bash

Sep 26 - Sat, 9:30-11:00 AM.  Performances at Manassas Farmer's Market.

Oct 8 - Thu, 6:55 PM.  Performance at Fairmont Retirement Community (tentative).

Nov 19 - Thu, time TBD.  Mid-day performances at Manassas Senior Center Thanksgiving luncheon.

Dec 5 - Sat, 5:00 and 7:30 PM.  Christmas concerts at Manassas Baptist Church.

Dec 10 - Thu, 8:00 PM.  Candlelight concert at Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg.

Dec (date TBD) - Performance at the Museum of the Marine Corps

Our first rehearsal is set for Tuesday, August 25 at 7:30 PM.  Plan to come early that night since everyone will be picking up their "Fabulous Fifties" music.  It will be a lot of fun!
 
Auditions for new and returning members will be held on Tuesday, August 18, beginning at 7:00 PM.  If you know of prospective singers, please put them in contact with Becky.
 
The archival DVD from Carnegie Hall has arrived and is wonderful.  We'll be setting up a couple of nights when we and our families/friends can view it.
 
One final opportunity - we'll be having a "Gospel Music Night" at MBC on Wednesday, August 26 at 7:00 PM, preceded by a "Southern Supper."  Rehearsals on the music for that night will be on Wednesdays Aug. 5, 12 and 19 at 7:30 PM.  You're welcome to come and sing with our adult choir those 3 weeks and on Aug. 26.  Just show up in the choir room on the 3rd floor if you'd like to be part of this annual event.
