November 17, 2009 Chorale Notes

Rehearsals for this segment: October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10, 17, 24, December 1. Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, December 3, 7:00 PM. Concerts: Saturday, December 5 at 5:00 and 7:30 PM. Attendance Requirement: 7 out of 9 rehearsals.

Dress rehearsal is on THURSDAY December 3, at 7:00 PM.

Ensemble will meet next Tuesday, November 24 at 6:50 PM in the Choir Room.

London/Paris 2011 - We've been invited to be a "core group" for this trip with Joseph Martin through Harmony International, which would include concerts for our military in these two countries. More details coming soon. Only three groups have been invited so far. Start saving now!

Tuesday, December 15 - trip presentation at Manassas Baptist. We'll sing at Chick-Fil-A and Caton Merchant House and return to the church to hear trip details.

Upcoming Events

Nov 19 - Thu, arrive at 11:30 AM. Mid-day performances at Manassas Senior Center Thanksgiving luncheon. Senior Center is located off Peabody Street near Mosby Street. Formal concert attire and black folders. Lunch is provided; finished by 1:30 PM.

Dec 5 - Sat, 5:00 and 7:30 PM. Christmas concerts at Manassas Baptist Church.

Dec 10 - Thu, 8:00 PM. Candlelight concert at Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg.

Dec 12 - Sat, 3:00 PM. Performance at Dunbarton Oaks Retirement Center.

Dec (date TBD) - Performance at the Museum of the Marine Corps

May 23, 2010 - Opening Gala for the Hylton Performing Arts Center

Next Tuesday: if you can sing at the Senior Center, bring the following pieces: There's No Business Like Show Business, Glory of Love, Save the Last Dance, and Rock Around the Clock. We'll run through them at 9:20.

Music cost for this segment: $15.00.
